The Labyrinth Wall by Emilyann Girdner (my review)

My Review

Wow! This book was intense! Danger lurked around every corner for Ariana and her team as they tried to find their way out of the labyrinth.  One day a mysterious man came flying out of a sudden hole in the wall!! The hole closed up and Ariana and her team spend the remainder of the book trying to get back to that hole and get to the other side, in hopes that life is better on the other side of the wall. This book had all the feelings...humor, sadness, scariness, shock, excitement, etc... I thoroughly enjoyed reading this and I cannot wait to read the next book to find out what adventures they are in for next!

The Prophet by Sunshine Somerville (my review)

My Review

This book totally wowed me! The author is new to me and I sure am glad I found her. This intro to the Kota series was so good. I read the book in just a couple of hours.  I was hooked right at the beginning and the story held me captive until the end. The ending left me really wanting more! I was immediately drawn to the two main characters Hazen and Renny.  Hazen has been a part of Renny’s dreams and she just knew she had to find him. Even though this was a quick read, it was packed with suspense.  I highly recommend this book to lovers of fantasy and science fiction.  I cannot wait to read more of this series.

Not Again! The Adventures of Breanna and Allyson by Sarah Hays (my review)

My Review

This book was an absolute delight to read! My kids are now 14 and 16 but I still truly enjoyed this story. I think that a lot of families will be able to relate to the story of Breanna and Allyson.  The fact that the author wrote this about her own two daughters made it all the more real.  I could picture my kids when they were little acting like Breanna and Allyson.  Breanna is the older sister and even though Allyson can drive her crazy at times, they are the best of friends.  The bond they share is very easy to see in this story. I highly recommend this book to people who interact with young children.  The pictures in this book are just as good as the story.  All in all a wonderful book.

When Love Walks by Kate Squires

***IT'S LIVE!!***

When Love Walks is LIVE and available at Amazon and for Kindle Unlimited! Click on the link and experience the continued story of Elora and Logan!

When Love Walks:

“My arms find their way around her, as I hold on for dear life.”
In their continuing story, Logan and Elora’s relationship is tested, yet again, in the much-anticipated sequel to When Love Breaks.

Elora has never thought of Logan’s physical disability as a problem. She’s been nothing but supportive and has always tried to reassure him that she loves him just the way he is. So, when his attitude toward her begins to change, she can't help but rethink her role in his life.

After getting a job as a nurse at a local hospital, she meets a handsome doctor, who seems very fond of her. When Logan’s interpretation of her coworker’s affections is opposite of hers, a rift is formed between them, and their strong connection begins to crumble.

Logan, who is beginning his career as a Physical Therapist, struggles with his insecurities, and a panic sets in when he realizes another man could easily lure away the love of his life. As self-doubt replaces reason, he tries everything he can think of in his attempt to hold onto her, but will it be enough? Add in several other obstacles, and you have a recipe for the perfect storm.

Can their love survive this ultimate test? Can Logan get past his fears enough to let her love him? Will Elora be able to overlook his seemingly unjustified jealousy, or will love really walk away for good?

My Review

This is the sequel to When Love Breaks and I highly recommend you read that book before this one so that you can fully understand the storyline.
This book has many ups and downs, highs and lows and my emotions were all over the place! In a good way though! My heart just went out to Logan and Elora as they tried to make their relationship work. I really enjoyed the story even though at times I was angry, sad, happy, frustrated…I think all of my emotions played a part in reading this book.

Logan and Elora don’t handle their insecurities very well in this story and at times I was left to wonder, “oh my gosh, are they going to make it through this?” There were a couple times that I literally said out loud, “No way.”
Overall I’m so glad the author wrote a second book on these two as I am a huge fan of them.  I give the book 5***** as I loved how it really caught all of my emotions while reading.

***** I was given a copy of this book from the author.  All opinions stated are solely my own *****

When Love Breaks by Kate Squires

This is the first book that I have read by author Kate Squires, and I can say that I cannot wait to read her other books! This book was excellent! To say that I loved this book is an understatement. This is the story of Elora and Logan. A story of two people finding themselves, finding love...having it ripped apart, then seeing if it is strong enough to put back together.

I read the book in about 4 hours as I couldn’t put it down. It tugged at my heart strings and had me dying to know if Elora and Logan would be able to pull through or not. It’s an amazing story that I recommend 100% to people who love seeing if love is enough. I give this book 5***** all the way around and am so anxious to read other books by this author.

A Family No More By: Amy Quonce hosted by: Loving The Book (my review)

My Review
A Family No More is a story that I’m pretty sure will stay with me for a while.  This was a pretty intense book, but I feel it was a story that needed to be told.  I feel that the issues the story dealt with are ones that happen a lot more often than we would like to realize.
The book was very well written; a heartbreaking story of a mother basically having to choose between her 2 children and see the unfairness of the judicial system.
I could not put this book down.  I just had to know how this was going to end. At times I was gritting my teeth with the mother, feeling her heartbreak and frustration in what she had to deal with.
I give this book 5 stars as it was very well written on such a sensitive topic.

Blood Thirsty Vol. 5 Enchanted by Elizabeth St. John (my review)

My Review

What an enchanting series this has been.  I am sad to say goodbye to Caleb and Willow but the journey has been amazing!!  I love how they have proved their love to each other time after time.  That kind of devotion is just awesome.

This book was really good and had me on the edge of my seat, especially at the end.  I just could barely handle it not knowing if they were going to succeed or not.  You have got to read this series to know what I am talking about.

This book was intense and kept me captive the entire time.  I love this book; I love this whole series a lot!!  I give this book 5***** all the way around and highly recommend it.

The Trouble with Nathan by Anna J. Stewart (my review)

My Review

It’s always hard to see a series come to an end and this is one of them.  This series has been wonderful, emotional, mysterious and heartwarming.

This last book was the most mysterious of all I would say and had me going from page to page so fast on my kindle sometimes I had to go back because I had skipped a page!  I just couldn’t read it fast enough and was just dying to know what was going to happen with these characters.

I loved Nathan and Laurel, they were perfect for each other and it was great to watch them go from where they started to their finish. All of the characters in this book were fantastic as they faced obstacles that came their way. The book has answers to all of the mysteries we have wanted answers too and is just really great.

I highly recommend this book and this series and it gets 5***** from this reviewer.

I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review.

The Bad Boy of Butterfly Harbor by Anna J. Stewart (my review)

My Review

This is the second book that I have read by this author and she has quickly become one of my favorites.
I loved this book and following the story of Luke and Holly.  Luke is coming back to town after a terrible accident that happened there.   Holly has to come to terms with Luke being back, and all of the bad memories it is bringing back to the surface.  All of the characters in this book are great.  The story kept my interest and actually towards the end I was literally on the edge of my seat.   I could not read fast enough to find out what was going to happen.
This book is heartwarming.  It’s about forgiveness, trust, honor, respect, acceptance and love.  I highly recommend this book and cannot wait to read the next installment to find out what happens with some of the other characters. This book gets 5***** from this reviewer.
I received this book in exchange for my honest review.

SHATTERED
By DIANA NIXON
COMING JANUARY 2016
Blurb:
It was love at first sight; a story that was supposed to last forever. A young heart that had never known true love, and a lonely soul seeking something real. I was that soul, and Elizabeth Brown was my beautiful heart, innocent and full of lawless passion.  She made me believe that love can change anything. And it did change me… It broke me, it shattered me.
The betrayal that I never saw coming, was like a dagger straight through my heart. In the blink of an eye, my love was replaced by endless hate and pain that I thought I would never be able to forget.
But who would have thought that even bleeding hearts can love? Who would have believed that in eyes with no hope, a new fire can start burning?
“I will make her fall for me again. And then, I will ruin her, just like she ruined me…”
