Playing Hooky by Rita Webb: Book Review

First of all, the cover of the book is absolutely amazing!! That is what drew me to the book at first. The story is incredible. It's a novella, so it is short. However don't let that turn you away. A lot of stuff happened in this short book. The two main characters Jason and Emma are amazing together and I can't wait to read more of them!!! They have an incredible chemistry together as they have been best friends since they were kids. Jason is a ???? We don't know at this point and I'm dying to find out!!!! There are lots of creatures they meet along the way. The way this book is written makes you just flow right along. I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes this genre. You will not be disappointed.

Waiting With God-The 31 Day Cure for Unanswered Prayer-A Devotional for Women by Suzanne Elizabeth Anderson: Book Review

This devotional really touched home for me. I felt as I was reading through the pages that it was written just for me. The author is very down to earth, talked about real-life issues, things I could relate to. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for some encouragement in their everyday life. I will be reading this over and over again. 5 stars all around.

Reflections on Life by Staci Stallings: Book Review

This is the first book I’ve read by Staci Stallings and I can promise you it won’t be the last.  This book touched me in a way that most books don’t.  Staci wrote from her heart and shared a lot about her life in this book.  It made me look at my own life and really challenged me in several areas.  This book made me really think a lot about the way I live my life and the way I should be living
.
Throughout the book I felt that the author was talking directly to me (or that God was talking to me through her).  As this was in Kindle format I took 4 pages of notes!!  There are several changes I have already begun to make based on this book, and I made quite a list of changes that I need to make in my personal life.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone and everyone.  It was very inspiring and soul searching.  This book was given to me by the author for an honest review and it is by far 5 stars all the way around.

Echoes by E.F. Rose: Book Review

Wow, was the one word that kept coming to mind as I read the poems in this book.  These poems are deep.  They are full of passion but also pain.  The person in these poems has been through it all.  Once I started reading, I couldn't wait to get to the next poem.  These poems have it all.

The cover of the book goes right along with a lot of the poems.  Once you read it, you will see what I mean.  I bought this book because I got a chance to chat with the author through an online event and was intrigued.  I'm glad I bought it; as it surely didn't disappoint.

I would buy more poetry from this author and would recommend this to anyone.  5 stars all around.
